Navajo Rug
6'8" x 4'2" most likely from the Chinle area. The design features two elongated serrated double diamonds on a strong red field. The border frame is a two inch red ribbon all around with ivory white end stripes. Woven from all Native long-staple Churro sheep wools. All wool was hand-shorn, hand-carded and hand-dyed by the weaver. Circa 1920.

No a/b sides. All corner tassels intact. A few areas of minor staining in ivory, mostly isolated to one side, otherwise great condition.
