Navajo Blanket 4'3" x 6'3" early Third Phase Chief's blanket with classic 9-spot design of full and half diamonds and typical banded field. Circa 1860s. Cream, indigo and cochineal-dyed red. Severe brown spots of staining visible throughout most of the ivory field, visible on both sides, along with one larger area of discoloration of an old repair in center diamond.
