Navajo Rug 10'5" x 7'. A superb, large Indian rug in colors of hand carded grey, ivory white and coal black. It has a full length stepped and spiraling layout with a bold, black and white chisel tooth border motif all the way around. Circa 1940. $6,000-8,000 A/B sides, one side appears to be brighter, B side is slightly yellowed in ivory areas and shows some minor bleed in areas, mostly black to white, along with some other yellow areas of possible staining, mostly isolated to one side. Handful of smaller darker stains also visible throughout, mostly isolated to one side.
