Navajo Rug
6'8" x 4'4" wonderfully Indian designed rug from the Ganado area. There are two large waterbug motifs with red cross centers, surrounded by a tri-colored chisel tooth border. Woven from all Native, handcarded, handspun and hand-dyed Churro cross sheep wools on a wool warp. Circa 1940.

Very slight a/b sides, one side seems to be slightly faded. Otherwise excellent condition.
