Navajo Rug
6'1" x 4'5". A very nice rug from the Transitional period. The rug has black and white serrated meandering motifs across a red field with an old serape style layout. Woven from all Native long-staple, handcarded, handspun and hand-woven Churro sheep wools on a wool warp. Circa 1890.

No a/b sides. Three tassels appear to be newer. A few snags visible throughout. Excellent condition overall
