Navajo Rug
7'1" x 5'1". A colorful Transitional rug with a two-column design of concentric box motifs and small whirling logs on a red field. Finished with a meandering green and red border. Woven from all Native, handspun, long-staple Churro sheep wool on a wool warp. Circa 1890s.
