Northern Plains Pipe with Quilled Stem
Stem is 21" long, T-style catlinite carved bowl is 8" x 4". Belonged to Short Bear. His name is carved on the stem and shown on the reservation inventory sheet, which is included in the lot. 19th century. Includes custom stand.

Condition
Quillwork shows some minor discoloration, pipe shows some abrasions and a couple chips on one end. End of stem shows a crack that runs through about halfway down the stem.
