Sioux Beaded and Quilled Pipebag 33" long overall including 8" beaded panel with different designs on both sides, 4.25" quilled panel and 10.5" of fringe. Accented with a quilled drop terminating in dyed horsehair-stuffed tin cones. 19th century. $1,500-2,000 Beadwork is overall excellent. Quillwork shows losses on almost every slat. Hide is slightly discolored but mostly soft and supple. Possibly missing some tin cones on top drop. One 1" hole in one side of hide.
