From the website of Twin Rocks Trading Post in Bluff, Utah: Mike Perez (Comanche and Mexican/American descent), better known as White Buffalo, brings a unique sensibility and fine sense of craftsmanship to his jewelry. Using the finest stones, he complements his work with beautifully detailed figures executed with clean stampwork and cutout designs. He has been creating jewelry since 1984 and mastered the techniques of silver cast, tufacast, and lost wax jewelry. He enjoys creating unusual forms whether in jewelry or other forms such as boxes and bowls. His work as been rewarded with a Fenn Gallery Award for Best of Market in Santa Fe as well as a "Jewels of the Southwest" exhibition at the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture.
