Navajo Rug
9'4" x 6'1" exquisite Teec Nos Pos weaving. The design incorporates all of the best of the Teec motifs on a rich, warm dark grayish-brown central field. The bold outer border has a coal-black field. In all, there are 13 different colors represented and probably the largest Teec Nos Pos weaving of this quality that can be found. It is woven from all handspun, hand-carded, hand-dyed and hand-woven long-staple Churro cross sheep wools on a wool warp. Circa 1940.
