Navajo Rug 12'7" x 5'3". An impressive and unusual Two Grey Hills weaving, as it has accents of both red and blue colors. This large floor rug has all of the design attributes of Two Grey Hills as well as the fineness of the weave. Being more than twice as long as it is wide, this rug is a substantial runner. It has just been professionally cleaned and the colors are bright and crisp. This piece is woven from all Native long-staple Churro cross sheep wools which were hand-shorn, hand-carded and hand-dyed by the weaver. Circa 1940. $12,000-15,000 Provenance: Ranchfolks Navajo Rugs.

Condition

No a/b sides. Remnants of corner tassels are visible. Two minor stains visible, isolated to one side. Otherwise great condition.
