Two Pairs Beaded Gauntlets 1) Sioux Gauntlets. 15” long x 6.5”. Fully beaded cuffs, beaded in geometric designs featuring initials JHT. Accented with fringe and purple trade silk. 19th century. 2) Crow Gauntlets. 13” long x 6.5”. Beaded flag and floral designs in very small beads, accented with fringe and a beaded border. Beaded initials A.A.D. on backside of cuff. Circa 1910. $1,200-2,000 1) Some minor discoloration in a couple areas including a 1" spot on top of left glove. Beadwork is excellent and hide is soft and supple. 2) Beadwork is excellent, hide is discolored, stiff and crunchy. Trade cloth lining is tattered and torn.
