Two Sioux Bugle Beaded Breastplates 1) Young Girl's Breastplate. 26" overall x 6.5" wide with green, clear, yellow, pink, blue, red, green and faceted pony beads along with 5" beaded fringe terminating in metal balls. 2) Woman's Breastplate. 43" long x 9" wide, decorated with translucent, brown, pink, white and blue tube beads and 6" beaded fringe terminating in two-tone yarn tassels. Circa 1940s. $800-1,000 Provenance: Ex Drew Bax Collection.

Condition

Very good considering age. All intact and no beads missing or broken.
