William "Bill" Gollings (1878-1932) Prickly Pear Cactus 12" x 16" oil on board Signed and dated 1911 lower right $6,000-8,000 Provenance: Featured in the book EW Gollings, A Record of Happenings by Gary L. Temple. The painting subject was based around a song composition titled “When the Cactus are in Bloom,” by Nellie Rider Weir of Verona, Sheridan County, WY.
