Navajo Blanket 6'6" x 7'9" Hubbell Trading Post Third Phase Chief's Germantown blanket. These Germantown blankets are very hard to come by, as they were big and most often used on the floor and worn out. This piece is 125-135 years old and is in very nice condition. It is woven from 4-ply Germantown wool yarns on a white Germantown wool warp. Circa 1890. $6,000-8,000 No a/b sides. Tassels intact. A few small stains visible throughout, some showing through to both sides. 5 total repairs visible throughout, largest is a 2" x 3" area in ivory. Some minor bleed, red and purple to ivory visible on both sides. Great condition considering age.
