Navajo Rug
8'4" x 5'2". A superb rug featuring bold diamonds and crosses on a grey field surrounded by an elaborate red, black and white border. Woven from all Native handspun, hand-carded and hand-dyed long-staple Churro cross sheep wools on a wool warp. Circa 1930.

Condition
No a/b sides. All corner tassels intact. One 1" section of end selvage where yarn has broken and the tear has been repaired with thread. Handful of minor stains visible throughout, largest being 2" x 2", mostly isolated to one side. Overall great condition.
