Navajo Rug 7’7” x 4’11” very fancy Crystal Trading Post Storm pattern floor rug. The design includes arrow points, crosses, dangling triangles and Valero Star motifs, all on a masterfully hand carded grey field. The piece is very tightly and finely woven and will wear like iron. It is woven from all Native handshorn, handcarded and hand-dyed long staple Churro sheep wools on a wool warp. Circa 1925. $4,000-5,000 No a/b sides. All corner tassels intact. Three pea-sized stains visible throughout, isolated to one side. Excellent condition overall.
