Navajo Rug
14' 7" x 9'6" Crystal area weaving featuring a large triple concentric diamond medallion surrounded by stepped geometric elements and arrow point motifs. It is woven from all Native handspun and hand dyed Churro cross sheep wool. The field color is a hand carded and blended brown-grey. The designs are done in natural ivory white and vegetal dyed wild carrot. Circa 1940.
